Anyway you stack it, this Super Bowl Sunday will be historically in more than one way. The Patriots, IF they win will be undefeated all season. The Giants, WHEN they win will be the most celebrated underdog team to go all the way since their last Championship 18 yrs. ago. The very first time that two brothers have gone to the big game back to back. The other rare known fact about todays game is that there's never been a African-American to referee a Super Bowl game...till now. This year, Mike Carey* will become the first. History was made last year when the Indianapolis Colts' Tony Dungy became the 1st Black head coach to win a Super Bowl. Twenty years ago, before that, Doug Williams of the Washington Redskins became the first Black quarterback to win a Super Bowl. It's insane to think that in a country that suppose to embrace cultural diversity, this is still news worthy. Especially in a game dominated by African-American players, one would think that these benchmark would have been meet and surpassed by now. Well I say this year, besides your favored team to win save some cheers for the other guys breaking records on the field like Mike Carey
