"Pulling Chicks In My New V!"-Tee Up For Summer W/the Block Association

Ok I need a brief moment of your time to help my team make a decision for THIS upcoming anniversary weekend. We had gotten together to throw some ideas around about doing a giveaway (gratis' free, pro bono, complimentary, swag) promotion item for our loyal supporters that's made the Block Association the prime event planner(s) of Brooklyn within the last year. So what you see pictured here is the end result of our debates on just WHAT it would be. So now what we NEED from you is your honest opinion if it's "Trash or Cash?", "Pop it or Drop it?", "Fab or Drab!" Hit us back AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Cause if we get enough "Yeahs!" then you will become the proud owner of one this weekend (maybe in white too?)! Either at Target's 1st Sat event (July 3rd) at the Brooklyn Museum OR at our July 4th Anniversary Block party down by the water at No.1 Front St. in DUMBO! Wait...did you even rsvp at theBlockRSVP@gmail.com yet?

With an after party immediately following the event. It's gonna be so DEF!

"Jamaica Not So Nice!" -Cleaning Up the Yard!

Yo! You remember this joint right HERE! This ad did for Jamaica what that damn grill did for George Foreman! I heard stories about guys booking flights all the way out to the "Yard" (one way tix mind you)
and getting off the plane holding up the poster asking "Yo, WHERE can I find this girl?" With Billy Ocean's "Caribbean Queen" blasting in their headphones (LOL). Nowadays "Yankees" of a different kind are coming out to "Jam Rock" holding up a different kind of poster! A WANTED one! For Christopher "Dudus" Coke, wanted in the U.S. on gun and drug trafficking charges! Reports out of Kingston last Tues. say that "Dudus" has been arrested finally. After damn near four days of gun battles between security forces and his supporters that left 76 people dead! I read somewhere that he was caught en route to the U.S. Embassy in Kingston accompanied by yet ANOTHER Rev. Al (no NOT the Rev. Al we all know). Admit it, it WOULD be mad funny if their Rev. Al was the Jamaican version of ours. LOL! Now outside of all this stuff happening down there, what I couldn't make sense of is WHY would a drug dealer go by the nickname "Dudus", if your last name was "Coke" ALREADY? "Chris Coke"... maybe? Just a suggestion rude boy! On another note, rumor has it that the young lady (well young at the time) pictured in the poster, is divorced w/ child. Owns a "on the low" good weed/bad roti spot, and is living on Kingston (Ave...in Brooklyn that is) and is working "Rihanna hard" to get back in shape for the anniversary version of this poster. MILF is chilling, Giz is chilling! What more can I say?

"Flashing Lights" -Paparazzi Pics (Pt.206)

Hey did you get a chance to stop through to that G-Shock event that took place at the Bowery Hotel this Tuesday? Well if you didn't then you missed on seeing one of the most fashionable attended events I've seen in a minute! Funny thing about it is that I'd damn near almost missed it myself! Yeah even though I got back TWO RSVP confirmations, I was still was hesitant about trooping out in that down pour of rain. I slapped myself in the face and gave myself the pep talk like "Ni**a just go! It's an early event. You'll be home in no time flat!" And with that said, I was off into the cold damp night. Wanna here some crazy $#*t? Ok, so I get there say about 8:30, no long guest list line at all, and I'm standing off to the side waiting for my boy Carlito (who NEVER owned a cell phone in LIFE btw!) to show up. Funny thing, I do admit looking down at my phone at one point, as if he was REALLY gonna call. Anyways, as I was saying. I waiting by the entrance to get in, when this long big black SUV pulls up to the curb, and out jumps rapper Bun B! He walks over gives me a pound (as if he knew ME), and asks was I good on the list! As if to say "Dude I got YOU! Just slide in with me if you got problems." Or maybe I'm just over thinking the situation...maybe. But I was not about to be on no groupie shit "riding the Bun" (pause, no non-hetrosexual). I politely said "Nah, good looks, but I'm good. I'm just waiting for my boy." Hey just maybe he THOUGHT I was someone he knew, who knows? So now back to the event. Which was actually for those socialite twins (Dee & Ricky) that design with all that Lego stuff that it was for. To promote a G-Shock watch "designed" by them. Which I wasn't feeling to keep it 100 wit cha. But suffice to say, the event was a smash! Kudos to the open bar & the beautiful people. Here's the pictures I took, go look see.
