"We Are Champions, My Friend"- Giants Win!

"There is no such thing as perfection"

-Unknown
Point proven today, when the Giants pulled an upset when their doubted victory destroyed the Patriots chances to ending their season with a "perfect" undefeated record. The key to todays
win was simple...the Giants figured out "the formula." The best offense is a great defensive.
Just stop the other team from scoring just enough, while scoring for yourself. Lucky for the Giants their offensive had Eli Manning on it's side, which is just fine enough by them. Not taking nothing away from the Patriots, they're good...Damn good! Hence NYs low score. However we were just BETTER. Now from the Super Bowl on to Super Tuesday. If only America got just as excited about the election as they do a sporting event. The way the campaign has being going, someone needs to throw a flag down, and call personal fouls when a candidate starts running smear ads. Give 'em a penalty I say.
Go Giants, now go Obama!
See you at the parade and then the polls.

"Giants, Patriots, and Zebras, Oh My!"-Super Bowl Sunday.

Anyway you stack it, this Super Bowl Sunday will be historically in more than one way. The Patriots, IF they win will be undefeated all season. The Giants, WHEN they win will be the most celebrated underdog team to go all the way since their last Championship 18 yrs. ago. The very first time that two brothers have gone to the big game back to back. The other rare known fact about todays game is that there's never been a African-American to referee a Super Bowl game...till now. This year, Mike Carey* will become the first. History was made last year when the Indianapolis Colts' Tony Dungy became the 1st Black head coach to win a Super Bowl. Twenty years ago, before that, Doug Williams of the Washington Redskins became the first Black quarterback to win a Super Bowl. It's insane to think that in a country that suppose to embrace cultural diversity, this is still news worthy. Especially in a game dominated by African-American players, one would think that these benchmark would have been meet and surpassed by now. Well I say this year, besides your favored team to win save some cheers for the other guys breaking records on the field like Mike Carey

(*not the the guy pictured here, but you get the point.)
