"Great Scott"- Dread Scott Displays @ MoCADA

Why does it
seem like anything that's considered
thought provoking,
is looked upon
as being controversial?
Artist Dread Scott's socially conscience works
of "art"are no exception. "Conversation pieces" would better describe what his works are. The term "art" in some peoples eyes are debatable. I say, if you are moved in some fashion after viewing a Dread Scott piece, then job well done. That what art does.
His latest exhibition can be viewed at the Clinton Hill / Ft. Greene hub of all things inspiring, MoCADA.
So take an opportunity to stare a different perspective of society in the face. Before you're to "blind" to see it.
