It's crazy to me to think that it's ONLY been ONE year come this fourth of July that the Block Association was formed! Around this time last year, I started feeling like I NEED the (July) 4th celebration to be on some ol' next level s#*t! So I thought long and hard, then made some phone calls to see who would bite at the bait. All Brooklyn natives, I hollered at Ngozi of Harriet's Alter Ego, DJ Trauma of Alador & Smith, along w/ partner in crime Silky Valente' both from Soundproof Hybrid. Former Ramseyracing rep and financial advisory Lyshaan Hall of the Stylistics Agency, Joined by Frei of the Ahficionados DJ set. Then added Keith "Major" of the newly formed Breakfast Club, along w/myself and BONG! Decided that this collective of characters was enough to start a MOVEMENT in Brooklyn! And after a GREAT run of successful event in our home borough, it's time to celebrate bring it back to the first with something even BIGGER this year!
