"It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday." Remember that joint from Boys II Men? Well we didn't sing it but that's how we collectively felt during the send off dinner party for Nasrin (good friend of Adam West's) Saturday past. After doing some extensive research in the field of retail sales & marketing (i.e. window shopping) Ashley and I shot over to the restaurant of Nasrin's choice around 6ish, I think it was called Elephant, a nice quaint Thai eatery over on 1st (St.) and 1st (ave. and 2nd ave.). It was about 12-15 of us it the joint and we took up half the restaurant! Yeah that's how tiny it was in there. Also it felt as if Ash and I we're the only Americans at the table, so conversations were choppy, until I took out my handy "English to American English" translation book. Talking should have came w/ subtitles for this night. LOL! Shyvonne, another naive New Yorker showed up to even the team out but it was too late. Dinner done off! Oh well, see you on the next trip back to the States "Nas" it was fun "n'it" (that's Brit for "isn't it") *BTW Shyvonne has a show on Thursday she wants ya'll to know about: WHEN: 9/18- Thursday @ 10:30pm WHERE: OS Art House on John St. HOW: $10 buckaroos
