Have you been to NoLita lately? It's a great visual example of how new style buildings are blending in with the old traditional one still left standing. Reason I mention this is cause, I have another great example of the old keeping in time with the new, Sweet Tater. Located on the quaint small block of Mulberry Street, directly in the shadow of the Puck building, Christina Kornilaskis and Sarah Gregory decided 4yrs. ago that's where they wanted to launch their flagship vintage store. Not only does the store feature rare but affordable vintage finds from worldly locations, it also showcases and sells original store brand designs, that go well with those knee length boots you been eying in their store too. I'd list all the celebs that's been spotted shopping there, but what do you care? You just wanna know what's the address, and how come you're just now finding out about it. For this installment of "Boutiquer Frequer" we've teamed them up w/ Afro-Punk spunk band Sweetie cause they DO have a softer side off stage you know. Plus Sweetie...Sweet Tater...seemed right. Well, here's Kwesi Abbensett doing what he does best, capturing the sweetness of both on film. Enjoy. (*Btw- Sweetie performs TONIGHT at Galapalos in Williamsburg)
