"Boutiquer Frequer" -Sweet Tater

Have you been to NoLita lately? It's a great visual example of how new style buildings are blending in with the old traditional one still left standing. Reason I mention this is cause, I have another great example of the old keeping in time with the new, Sweet Tater. Located on the quaint small block of Mulberry Street, directly in the shadow of the Puck building, Christina Kornilaskis and Sarah Gregory decided 4yrs. ago that's where they wanted to launch their flagship vintage store. Not only does the store feature rare but affordable vintage finds from worldly locations, it also showcases and sells original store brand designs, that go well with those knee length boots you been eying in their store too. I'd list all the celebs that's been spotted shopping there, but what do you care? You just wanna know what's the address, and how come you're just now finding out about it. For this installment of "Boutiquer Frequer" we've teamed them up w/ Afro-Punk spunk band Sweetie cause they DO have a softer side off stage you know. Plus Sweetie...Sweet Tater...seemed right. Well, here's Kwesi Abbensett doing what he does best, capturing the sweetness of both on film. Enjoy. (*Btw- Sweetie performs TONIGHT at Galapalos in Williamsburg)

"Freque The Technic" -Sweet Tooth for Sweetie & Sweet Tater

YES! Finally yet another installment of "Boutiquer Frequer" has been completed! This time on we've decided to feature two "in-the-cut" subjects that folks need to put on blast to the general unknowing public. Boutique/brand Sweet Tater & Afro-Punk band Sweetie, seemed like a destined collabo to bring together for the second one and from looking at the pics photog Kwesi sent back it came out...well...SWEET! The Sylistics Agency has done it AGAIN! Here's a preview of some "behind-the-scene" shots.

"Flashing Lights" -Paparazzi Pics (Pt.62)

Last Fri should've been "Miami in NYC" for real! Round 6 o'clock I made my way out to the SoHo Grand Hotel's garden on W. Broadway to check out Londoner Estelle's (the stylist not the singer) sexy impromptu get-together she was having there, I brought along Katrina (fresh implant from Austin), Chandon, Renee (Sweetie's manager) Nicole James & Co., and L.A. to even out the cool factor to my favor. I made a note to self that I GOTTA do an event there in the very near future. Dope ass vibe. Then later it was off to get "Down & Derby" rollerskating party at Studio B! Where Kai (718Bodega) and crew joined us, along with Phili sisters Katrina & Tina, Misako (411 mag, Rag & Bone), Adam "West", Young Lord w/ his artist Ernie Gaines in tow. Whew! It was like a "class trip" of us altogether, vibing to the '80's music and enjoying the newly open rooftop they have now. The highlight of the night was when these two random but cool ass chicks heard that Ernie was about to blow-up and started pawing him for the rest of the night (damn, I gotta start taking singing lessons fast)! Two parties one night, all good! Enjoy.
