"Nasir Jones, Nas If You're NASTY"-Nas's Latest Video Contribution
I've ALWAYS been a Nas fan! NOT on the Jay-Z level that I am, but I gotta admit...the kid is NICE! My biggest "problem" with Nasir was never his lyrics it was his consistency to put out hits! He never quite found his quote unquote "groove" to when it came to his choice of beats & on track deep thinker vs gangster rap persona. Well that's neither here or there, I came here to talk about the NEW s**t he got out circulating now. Dope on plastic! Oh whatever the hell that they put music on these days! LOL! Cover yo face and listen as the "Godson MC" spits FIRE! I'm hoping this is a comeback story for him!

"Internet Killed The Radio Star!" -New Tracks To Groove To; NaS, Cee-Lo, & Frank Ocean
I think is SO crazy how at one time I used to stay up late posted up by the radio, half sleep half woke, finger in position to hit play/record at the first hint of a new song being played! Now with this ol' Internet invention I simply just cruise around my favorite music sites/blogs, or just type in the title of a new song by the artist I'm digging and BONG! It's in my playlist in a matter of seconds!!! Now I'm not mad at change it's just that the excitement of first hearing a track and then the hunt to get a clean, no DJ voice over version is forever LOST. But enough abut me being an old man, I'm joining the wave and putting you on to some new joints out that I'm personally digging right now via that SAME internet thingy."Dreamkilla"-FRANK OCEAN
"Bridges"-CEE-LO GREEN
"Ghetto Dreams"- NAS Ft. COMMON

It was hot like "the Devil on summer vacation down in Arizona" type heat up in there, but folks (literally) sweated it out and endured the "Easy Bake Oven" temperatures. Here the highly awaited picture AND video (yep!) set to Nas' hit song "Made You Look" Peep it, Like it, and Spread it! "By FREAK Accident!" -Don't Let 'em Fool Ya, Oh No!
Hey, I know you're busy and all but I need your advise on something real quick. Cool? First let me explain. Okay, a friend (no, seriously...it's NOT me) the other day was telling me how, one morning in a rush leaving for work from his shorty's crib, he mistakenly grabbed her iPhone on his way out. It wasn't till I (ummm, I meant HE) was looking through the phone's playlist that he realized it was NOT his...definitely not! One playlist title that raised a "red flag" for him was one titled "Pole Position!" Curious I...er he randomly scrolled through it, just to figure out WHAT the f#@k songs would be listed under a title like THAT ! By now he's heated and shocked from what he's reading, here's a sample of just why! Songs like;
Silk -"Freak Me"
Jodeci -"Freakin' You" (Wu-Remix)
Petey Pablo -"Freak A Leak"
Prince -"Head"
Shawnna -"Gettin' Some Head"(Remix)
Nas -"Oochie Wally"
Sisqo -"Thong Song"
David Banner -"Play"
Ying Yang Twins -"Wait" (Remix)
Khia -"My Neck, My Back"
And then he said sarcastically, "What hoe ass playlist would be complete without..."
Luke -"Doo Doo Brown"
So OF COURSE as soon as he gotta moment to speak to her, he was dying to hear her side. To which she explained "Oh, I ain't tell you? I'm taking a pole dancing class at the gym baby!" He was relieved for a while believing her story till he recently found these (*see picture below) under her bed! Once again he confronted her like, "Yo WTF! I thought you told me some BS story 'bout some "pole dancing" class son!" And with a straight face she replied, "Oh I am baby...it's to help me make bigger TIPS!" My question I wanna ask you is, "Is it rude to ask him where exactly she's stripping at?"

"Nas Is Like...Single Again? -Nas & Kelis Throw Some D's (As In D-ivorce) On It!
Now WHO saw this one coming? I swore it was like just two weeks ago she was showing off the baby bump round town like it was the latest "it" handbag. Now they're not even gonna be together? I gotta admit to you guys, I'm not sad about this announcement truth be told...Honestly. I've had a long time crush on the ever stylist Ms. Kel, and now I think I FINALLY have a shot! But this new baby stuff just changes EVERYTHING! Picture me baby sitting for "lil' Esco, or "Nasty Nas Jr." when it's her turn for visitation rights. Oh HELL nah! If he wasn't ready to be a father all he needed is one condom NOT "One Mic" if you ask me. If anybody got the scoop on just why, just holla at me and let me know. I'm good at keeping secrets. Hope he didn't get caught getting some extra "Oochie Wally" on the side man. Tragic!

"Flashing Lights" -Paparazzi Pics (Pt.72)
Yeah, I know I'm a lil' behind on this one but I was SO caught up with planning "Rock the Block BK" (thanks for your support btw), that I damn near forgot to tell you guys about me attending "Rock the Bells" last Sunday. Okay, so I get a call early Sunday morn from my Stylistics (Agency) partner in crime Ashley, about how she's got a hook-up from Jon "What the" Deuce of Cliche' who has his hands on some tix for this years "Hip-Hop event of the year" out at Jones Beach! I had other plans to spend my Sunday, but as I said "HAD". I was not to miss this event, even though I was one, dumb tired. And two, I honestly don't DO hip-hop concerts like that, I'm more into live music w/ musicians, but with this year's line up planned, I would be foolish to miss it. So after a quick LIRR train ride plus a crowded bus shuttle trip, we were there licky split. My stomach started to rap to me but...$5 for water!?! $10 hotdogs!?! It's TOO expensive to be hungry...and the line wait is longer than the acts!?! Hell to the no! But I give in cause it was do or die...hungry. De La Soul brought out Dres of Black Sheep & Biz Markie, Mos Def featured Talib (of course) and Pharaoh Monch, Raekwon & Ghostface brought out...damn near all of Staten Island on stage. Red & Meth guest starred Slick Rick (for like 10 secs) and EPMD (had to, it's in Long Island). Nas cameoed Jay-Z, and Q-Tip debuted a Tribe reunion and Busta! Hip-hop was NOT dead that evening, it just was in a long ass coma.
Sidenote: Burger King's "16 Bars of Flame" sounds like a talent search for gay rappers. Lol. Also peep the "Zohan" in the pic before the "16 bars" one.
