"Here Comes The Men In Black (Clap Clap)!" -The Block Unified Dress Code

Agents J & K wore it. Vincent & Jules rocked it.  Reservoir Dogs made it cool. The Crazy 88's killed it! And the agents from the Matrix made you FEAR it. So what will the Block Association do with it the timeless black suit, white shirt, black tie look? Make you RESPECT it! When deciding on a dress code/unified look that best represented us AND silently made a statement visually when worn as a collective, this iconic images came to mind in helping us make our decision. I'm bringing this up, and saying all this to say that THIS FRIDAY (Sept.14th) the WHOLE bloodclot Block Boys team will be dapper looking like the Blues Brothers (minus the hats and white faces of course) for "Virgo's Night Out" Vol.3! Our 3rd annual Block Association collective Virgo birthday event. Being held this year within our NEW 3 week old (every) Friday night party "NEW JACK CITY" (37 W.17th near 6th ave.) aka J'Adore. The look is both gangster and reserved at the same damn time. If you're a Virgo (or not) and you plan to attend and celebrate with us, OR you just wanna play your part in the movement, by all means "...Get ya black suits up!" as Jay-Z once said.  It's gonna look GREAT on film!

Alright, my fellow "nightlife activist" as we get closer to the weekend I keep getting mo' and mo' GOOD news to share with you guys that's been SO supportive of the Block Association's wavy movement! By now I'm sure that you've heard via the NY Times, Facebook, and or this new trending thing called the Internet (hope I'm spelling it right) that our gig  "Hi-Definition" @Butter is kaput, wrapola, dunzo, dead and stinking, correct? However you know the ol' saying "When one door closes another opens" right? Well not only did we land another sexy spot to present to those looking to celebrate a life event at on Fridays (details and GRAND OPENING soon come) we ALSO are in the process of locking down a spot for Target's 1st Sat. after party / Labor Day Sat. (Sept. 1st) to present "F**k Yo (Bloodclot) Couch!" like we did last year! Pure AWESOMENESS! But wait, there's MORE! Sunday Sept. 2nd we'll be hosting w/MADE drinks a daytime party ("M.A.D.E. In America") out in Philly with Philadelphia Status Brand's Michael Morrow! NO plans that Sunday feel free to join us on a day trip down i-95 to rep NYC with us. Here's details to the event HERE. DJ Trauma as well as DJ Aktive (Kanye's DJ) will be behind the wheels with Silky hosting. Jay-Z has that HUGE concert (Made In America show) going on out there at the SAME DAMN TIME so it should be nutso out there! Lastly Friday Sept. 14th for ONE NIGHT ONLY we'll be at Pranna hosting "VIRGO'S NIGHT OUT" the yearly collective b'day celebration for Block members Deffrei "Frei Speech", Nigel Walker "Silky Valente' ", Keith "Major", and myself Alanzo "Danny Ocean" Dale!!! ALL other Virgos are more than welcome to join in on the fun. So there it is on a china plate, eat up! Here again are the other events I've posted happening as well...

Sept. 23rd "SKY FALL"-Our 2nd only roof top event @ the Copacabana, but our 1st of the Fall! Yet ANOTHER classy rooftop brunch party that will take NYC social life even HIGHER! 3pm-11pm NO COVER more details as event gets closer!

Sept. 30th "ROCK & BOWL" -You helped us RULE the summer this year with both our events AND the success of MADE drinks! So the Block Association felt it was only right that we rewarded you with a NO COVER NO CHARGE (for bowling ONLY) daytime bowling sporting event back at Chelsea Piers 300 LANES! Yeah the same spot we took over for our 600ppl + Super Bowl party! 'Member how WAVY that was?

THANK GOD for pictures man! If not for these images posted below, I wouldn't have ANY recollection of this night even happening...true story! If some pictures appear blurry or outta focus it's cause ummm I was drunk...DUH! So now that that's out there, let me proceed to explain WHAT exactly you're looking at below. PURE DEBAUCHERY at it's finest! We had originally had planned to do a very intimate low-profile surprise b'day party for Block Association member Lyshaan "L.A." Hall to be held at 40/40. Ya know something a lil' more casual, & for the folks that didn't make it out for the fashion event b'day held at Pisano's. But when wind got to us that Jay-Z himself was booking out the spot he owns for the night, we "Plan B'd" it and took the "b'day roast/toast" over to our version of Cheers...Beauty & Essex. We sent out some selective redirection texts and BONG,,,the party was back on! Not only was the liquor flowing WAY to wavy, the music was top notch that night too. Then to top thangs off a couple of notables like Kevin Liles (Def Jam president), Consequence (former G.O.O.D. music artist), and soft porn blogger / hero to ass lovers everywhere 4o oz. Van (peep his site fellas, but NOT at work 40ozVanNYC.tumblr.com) were in the building to toast with the Block Boys!
