If you're from Brooklyn. Or even just HEARD ABOUT Brooklyn. And you're a fan/follower of rap then you SHOULD well know the significance of next weeks date of March 9th. That date marked the loss and tragic (and STILL unsolved) death of the Notorious B.I.G. aka "Frank White". Luckily for us and his loved ones his music WAS his legacy! And for this we celebrate, not his untimely demise. If you are a deep devoted fan of the man & his music we request your presence to "Throw your Rollies in the sky, and wave 'em from side to side!" at "Hello Brooklyn's!" first B.I.G. tribute at the all new UltraViolet!

Did you know that Brooklyn lost not one but TWO Frank White's? Yep, about two years ago a budding social and cultural hub/cafe titled Frank White (formerly located on Atlantic Ave. cross from B.I.G.'s hangout) closed & left a gaping void for like minded folks to congregate. I launched (w/ the help of Ashley Mui) the very first "Rock the Block" arts event there, so the lost was personal for me as well. Anyways a reunion of sorts (w/live performances) is being planned on Wed. March 16th at Littlefield in Brooklyn to honor all those that contributed to the grow of that short lived location, and yours truly is one of them! Click on flier attached and RSVP w/ the swiftness! That one even B.I.G. would be proud of!
