Well anyways here's a collective of photos some recent (recent as in last week, all in ONE night of parties) and some are from a going/moving away party, and some are lost pics from "the Homecoming" party the Block Association threw Thanksgiving weekend. Hanging w/ the Stylistics Agency's L.A. (Lyshaan Hall) I caught up on all the festivities I've been missing. Once his classes are done, "vacation" starts!. LOL! "What Up My Ninja!" -Ninja Assassin Review

Now I LOVE playing video games just as much as the ("teen trapped in an adult body") next man but spending money to see one on the silver screen is a bit too much for me! I like walking into movies with an open mind but closed wallet. An like songs if it doesn't catch me with the first few "notes" (in this case dialogue) then get me my hat and coat folks! I was hoping this would be a nice return to the Karate flicks of yesterday, but yesterday has passed away, I'm convinced of this. Not to kill it for you but I found it hard to believe that this LONE ninja decides to go against 1,000 year old traditions & teaching for some chick he NEVER was even was intimate with yet! She OBVIOUSLY wasn't feeling him too much cause there's a scene where she attempts to bounce from the temple...compound...whatever you wanna call it, without asking him to tag along. Until he figures "Uh she's been gone to the bathroom PRETTY long huh?" She gets "Pacino'ed" (scar across the face) for not killing a fellow lil' ninja and gets killed by a hood ninja for it. The main character doesn't wild out over this, but when asked to kill someone he doesn't even know only THEN he flips out!!! Come on now Hollywood!!! I'm not a stupid Ninja, I peep the madness. Finally I left thinking what good is a whole damn school of ninjas if they can't even beat one "rogue" ninja? What...ninjas are only good at killing defenseless people who have the lights off? Ninja PLEASE! Btw the way, I DO think the posters pretty dope though. Remember you can't spell "Ninja Assassin" without putting two ASSES in it! The director & the screen writer!

"Rock A Fela!"-Broader than Broadway

Let me hear you say "Yea Yea!" Okay let me get right to it "FELA!" on Broadway is that S#@T! But it wouldn't be the M Report if I didn't give you the full experience right? Cool, okay first of all it's brick freezing cold out and once we arrive at the theater will call is just as puzzled as us as to where our tix are. Not their problem cool...I get it. But good luck/faith has a way of just showing up unannounced. Mind you, it's a few minutes before show time curtains coming up and all, and we're trying to figure out a way in. Boom! The door rush comes of tixet holders going in the SAME door as some celebs out there (?uestlove, Natalie Portman of Star Wars, V for Vendetta, Brothers fame, and that 60 minutes chick with the strange winking eye) so security is sorta 'laxed (old "Otis" looking cat). Each entourage ASSUMES we're with the other entourage and we get swept in with the "In" crowd. YES! Take that ticketron/ticket master! Once inside the atmosphere is REALLY 'laxed. The band plays as folks take there seats. The buzz in the air is as if a Fela concert is about to take place (which it almost damn near is). BTW seated behind ?uestlove should earn you SOME money back. Watching a show through the hairs of an Afro is an act in itself let me tell you. I know folks were thinking "Damn, he's giving a standing ovation for EVERYTHING!" NO, I'm just trying to see man. Anyways, besides the actor who's "possessed" by Fela's spirit being GREAT, the dancers & the woman that plays his mother almost steal the show. Watching them doing a "dance cypher" on stage I felt like I was at a Keistar Prod. "Fela vs James Brown" party! It was just that serious! I'm not gonna spoil the whole experience for you, you just NEED to go see the DAMN thing! After the final act. I made a bee line over to the after party where more celebs & the cast would be at just blocks away (Club 48), that bragged about FREE drinks and finger foods, so I took them up on it. Chomp...gulp...& gone! Gotta work tomorrow!

Here's one of the BEST song/dance routines in the whole play "ZOMBIE"

"Bush DOES Care About Black People!" -Blame It On The Irish Whiskey

Wait...Did I tell you the other day how I got a call from the "ring leader" Ouigi of the Brooklyn Circus about some casting for a Irish whiskey ad was taking place, come dressed and meet him over at the casting location with L.A. (of the Stylistics Agency)? Well anyways, after we did the casting shoot for the ad, not but a week after we get called back saying we've made it, come down for the actual shoot (with this world renown Brit photog) AND we'll be paid young CA$H money for the day. "Ummm, hello work? I'm not feeling well I'll be in tomorrow!" Feel me? So the shoot was for Bush Mills (yeah we NEVER heard of it either), and their angle was to shoot groups of friends that have a certain energy between them, and look as if they actually drink the stuff. The shoot was damn near the WHOLE day, but trust me I'm NOT complaining. Free food, DRINKS, dope vibe AND pocket money...yeah I can get use to that. Once "the Bush" started flowing so did the jokes, all in all a good time was had. The photog dug us so much we were asked to stay a while longer! Hey, maybe someone's wallet was missing and just wanted us to stick around till it showed up..who knows? Just jokes. Just giving you a heads up if you open up the next Esquire or GQ and you see ya boys posted up in that piece, you'll know the story behind all that. And if it DOESN'T show up Bush Mills WILL get a call from Sharpton trust me on that one! LOL. Btw, Ouigi says to send names to rsvp@theBKCircus.com for the BKC's 1st holiday office party NEXT Saturday's blast off!
