Last Sunday was just the case, when I got the text for another session of "Boogie Buffet". I was a lil' light FM this go round (due to that Roots jam in Prospect Park) but once say 8ish hit I was back to looking like it did the first time! "Hot Bowl Coming Through!" -Brooklyn Bowl Is Cooking!

How long have I been sleeping? Cause I heard not a peep about these HOT featured acts that stopped through to Brooklyn Bowl! You would think after the Block Association smashed over there for "Rock & Bowl" that we would be called first thing to be invited out! But NO! We're still getting wind of things at the VERY last minute like the rest of you common folks! LOL! Anyways, I guess we both missed the N*E*R*D show and the John Legend w/ the Roots thing (last night), catching a DJ set (?) w/ Solange' is still an option. I think I'll pass on that one. It's TONIGHT by the way admission is 10 beans.

Hmmmm, it seems I might be doing a road trip this Saturday huh? The bad boys of Philly are back in their home town to kick off there annual "Roots Picnic" (the 3rd one mind you), that's PACKED to the gills with some GREAT acts this year! Just peep the line up on the flier if you think I'm lying! Nice right? Well tix go for like $50 bucks , but I'm hearing it's WELL worth each & every cent. Hey, I just might see you guys out there (fingers crossed). If you ARE going fo' sho fo sho' email me a contact # so we can link and share blankets. LOL!
