"Flashing Lights" -Paparazzi Pics (Pt.83)

Now this event right here was THEE BEST time I had in a minute...well since Rock the Block BK at least. Why? I'll explain. First off, L.A. was not only ON time, but he was calling ME to see If I was ready (rare)! Once we (Tiara, L.A. & I ) arrive we find a parking spot within two mins. AND get in with the quickness. Boom! On point. We not only get ushered in by Keita (KeiStar Productions) herself, but she gave us drink tickets that wind up being bottle tickets. We're like F' it and "ball out." Lol! Soon after, Frei (DJ Blackocaine/
Ahficionados) shows up and gets sexually harassed by some "E'ed" up white chick, that had way too much past her limit. I'm in steadily in her ear, pumping her up to f%#k with him some more. Hill-Larry-Us! You see he's not amused by this one bit, in one of these pics below. It back fires on me, and she starts corning me with the kissy face. "Ummm, I'll pass but my man here is with it" I said pointing to a unsuspecting L.A. pouring his 5th glass. She goes in to plant a sloppy one on his mouth, MUWAH! That's when he gets all "Black Rob" on her and backs up like "WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! YO!" Straight Sit-Com folks! First time a black man had to call security on a white chick! I wiped the tears of laughter from my eyes and we finally get to enjoy just the music for once. You could tell Spinna was in the "zone!" Each joint was better than the next, steady building up. Dance circles were breaking out all over the place...in all THREE rooms! Maxwell (no pictures please), Raphael Saadiq (red blazer!), and Q-Tip w/Ali (brothers, you late) all came out to see what all the noise was about. Can't wait till the next one!

When reporters asked Mikey if he was having one of his infamous young boy sleep-overs to celebrate, he threw up two fingers and said "Yes, one with my closest buds from the Boys Club, and the other will be with Young Jeezy, Yung Berg, Yung Joc, Young Guns, Young Buck and hopefully Young Hov!" And you thought that the turn-out for the Prince v.s. MJ party was SICK! Wait till you witness the out pour of love for the Stevie Wonder joint, "Wonder-Full" this year. Year in and year out these event amazes me on how much it's grown over time. It almost doesn't feel like Summer just yet till this pass. However this year, to accommodate the crowd capacity, it will be held at the spacious Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom. So you can properly get your dance on. Also This year, KeiStar Productions has decided to celebrate the event on the eve of father's day (Sat. June 14th) to honor Stevie Wonder as the 'father' of musical genius. If you couldn't get tickets to his concert this year, this WILL do.

"Flashing Lights"- Paparazzi Pics (Pt.28)

Let me be perfectly honest with you, I had a TERRIBLE time at the Soul Slam XI (MJ vs Prince) event...taking pictures that is (lol)! I was too too busy having FUN to even be focused on shooting flicks. This was a tough one my friends, I wanted to bring back fun capture on film, but EVERYWHERE was packed top to bottom RAMMED! Besides, I hadn't heard DJ Spinna in a minute AND I'm a Prince fan too! Damn! As I was walking in, "The Abstract One" (Q-Tip) walked over (...to me mind you), and said "What's good? It's NUTS in there!" I've known him forever, but it was a good look as an opening line later w/the ladies. Kudos to KeiStar Productions man, that idea was ingenious! Both artists music transcends, every age and race demographics, so that what the crowd was like. Very mixed, yet very together. Can't wait till the next one man. Better yet, we're (the Minority Report & KeiStar) diligently working on a top hush hush event to bring to BK! You'll be the first to know, when we make that happen. But for now enjoy what little pictures I did take. Once again sorry, though I regret absolutely NOTHING!
