"Black Excellence, Truly Yours!" S/0 To My Fam!

Being that there is no other news happening other than the debate about cancelling the roof top party tomorrow
because of the "Noah like floods." I decided to take the time to put the spotlight on my fam's latest accomplishments in recent weeks.

First up is baby girl Tiara Perry who if you were paying attention was in the Uni-Qlo Flagship Store recruitment ad that ran in yesterday's amNY paper. Kudos to you! Get that PAPER...ad!

And speaking of Brooklyn girls, our home girl Aisha Hinds scored ANOTHER magazine cover w/ the August issue of Heart & Soul out on newsstand as we speak! So clap clap bravo to that as well man, she steady getting WORK!

And lastly but never least our adopted fam Jason Smith Jr. will be toasting his life so far on Earth this Monday with a HUGE dress up affair injunction w/ VIBE magazine that folks will copy and talk about for many birthdays after he pulls this off w/ a SMASH!

"Home Is Where The Hamptons Is!" -Daytripping From Bk And Back

Haven't seen this face in a while huh? well while you were getting rained on all Summer long Ms. Chameleon here was making a life for herself out in the Hamptons through an opportunity that Ralph Lauren (himself) presented for her to help build the Rugby brand. But at last Summer is OVER (never REALLY kicked off to be honest) and this bird's flying back to BK for the winter. And to celebrate her homecoming she's asked me to invite you all out to a homecoming party she's throwing for herself out in the Hamptons! Day trip to the east coast playground of the stars for a day of fashion, food, and great fun! All in the RL Hampton getaway home. Sounds interesting right? Here's more info:

* If you are interested in travel from NY to E. Hampton, you would need to take the bus or train. The bus is called the Hampton Jitney, which comes to 39th & 3rd St., in NY, and is $50 r/t ($30 one way). The landmark for bus is Main St. in E. Hampton. There is also a train, Long Island Rail Road (LIRR)avai. at Penn Station NY, that goes in and out of E. Hampton for $30 r/t ($15 one way) The landmark spot for them is "E. Hampton, coming towards Montauk". ***Schedules must be checked. The website for the Jitney is: www.hamptonjitney.com. Using either of these, you would need to get a cab from there to the house at 32 Robert's Lane, E. Hampton 11937, for the party. The cab company is Lindy's Taxi Service (631) 907-0077. (To the house is $10 min., $20 if cc used.)

* Jackie Williams, the Gen. Mgr. of the Ocean Beach Resort has avail. rooms, still. This hotel is right on the beach, which is a/20 min. from the party. The address is 108 S. Emerson Ave., Montauk, NY 11954, and the ph. no. is (631) 668-4000.
I have names (no ph. nos.) of other hotels on Montauk Hwy. (27), that can be checked. Montauk Hwy is the only road in and out of E. Hampton. All of these are on Montauk Hwy., which is also Main St., going down the road towards the beach:

It makes absolutely NO sense to me that you have yet to discover the social "awesomeness" power of the GREAT Tues. after work party called "Word To Everything I Love!" @ Aspen (W. 22nd /5th & 6th) Songs will be written, and folks will past down from generation to generation the legendary tale of how this party came from nowhere, to claim rule over the NEW New York social set of taste makers! YES people it is just that DOPE! I may be exaggerating just a wee bit, but I challenge you to find better. The food (!) affordable (recession conscience) drinks (!!), the great hosting DJs (!!!) are all an unbeatable combo. This past Tues. Dirty Deb's own Sam Smalls "bring'em out bring'em" out to celebrate her B'day. It was like a "class" reunion up in there! (Butch Diva boss) Tiffany, Wordspit, Nadia Brewer (luv her), (the Breakfast Club's) Charlie Chick, even a cameo from m.i.a. Tiara Chameleon came to find out first hand what the buzz was all about. DJ Soul & the Ahficionados took turntable turns making the crowd move all night (6pm-12am). Peep the very last pic below. Tiff & L.A. are bugging that you're not there yet! FYI * This Tues. (8/25) we'll be celebrating a few more B'days!

"Flashing Lights" -Paparazzi Pics (Pt.142)

Well it's not far fetched too say, the opening weekend at Havana Outpost was a HUGE success! All of the who's who of Brooklyn (new and legendary) was out rubbing elbows with frozen margaritas in hand. Live Wire, Game Rebellion, Ahficionados, the Bed-Stuy Bunch, the BKC crew, "Never Leave Brooklyn" Chuck, Biltz the Ambassador, Coup D'Etat BK, Hot Rod Shimy, Tiara Chameleon, and the list goes on. I was avoiding going all night, but after the damn TWELVETH text about how "nutty" it was over there, me and the Minority Mobile, made a guest appearance to shake hands and kiss "the babies" (aka the ladies). And with almost 80 degree weather expected for this weekend, I'm thinking it's gon' be even nuttier! This "the Bridge Is Over" campaign is looking STRONG so far, and it ain't even Summer yet!
