Year in and year out like clockwork the Block Association has been hosting (for FOUR yrs. now) a large gathering of folks all in the interest of watching the NFL's season best two teams duke it out for world championship. And year in year out like a steadily growing child each passing year it just grows bigger & BIGGER! Well this year will NOT be any different! Why? Cause not only will we be partnering up with both Showcase Ent. & Empire Entity, BUT also we'll be taking over the entire space of the beautiful SLATE which technically gives us the bragging right to say it WILL be hand's down "The largest Superbowl viewing party in NYC!" YEAP, we'll be turning SLATE into one HUGE living room next Sunday (Feb. 3rd), and you'll have a front row seat ANYWHERE in the house. Especially w/over 30 flat screen TVs and one large projector on deck. What better way to watch the big game and the even bigger half-time show performance by Beyonce' (& special guest)?!? "We Got The POWER!" NYC's Historic Brunch Is Just Days Away! RSVP NOW!

Since the Summer ended the Block Association has been scheming on a way to not only create a legendary event that would become a NEW tradition to attend in NYC, but also something that would cap the WHOLE year off that had a "WOW!" effect. And being that our niche has become daytime parties with over 600 in attendance, we collectively thought "How (if possible) could we make it even BIGGER?" And we figured out just HOW! Put the BEST people we've worked with and invited out to our events all in ONE  (sexy ass large) room! The owners of SLATE (the venue of choice we're hosting it at) came out to our brunch event at TOP CHEF Kitchen and were amazed at the look of the crowd and wanted to get in on the action. Which is the PERFECT venue (size, location, etc.) we needed to pull this one in a lifetime year ending event off! As you can tell from all the capitalized words & exclamation points I'm using that I'm tremendously excited about this one. WHY you ask? Simple...It's NEVER been done...period! Not only will it be the FIRST brunch party ever hosted at the venue, it will be the FIRST time the Block, Blacklight Ent, Showcase AND Empire Entity has ever done a party there! Let alone the FIRST time we've all worked together on ONE single event! All that is reason alone that this will be "the one" to f**k with as you get readyfor our FIRST NYE event in the city ("OCEAN'S 13") the very next night! Now I TOLD you we have ONE last mega colossal huge brunch to close out the year right? Well it's now OFFICIAL!!! Sunday Dec. 30th we're starting a NEW year ending tradition with "the POWER Brunch!" Thee LARGEST daytime brunch event ever thrown in NYC! AND (get this) the 1st EVER brunch party thrown in SLATE (54 W.21st St)...PERIOD! Now we've done daytime events with both BlackLight Entertainment and Showcase Entertainment before, but never both AT THE SAME DAMN TIME! Say it with me...TRIFECTA! If you're NOT excited about what you just read then I'm not quite sure you understand the language that I'm speaking! Maybe you ain' t hearing me right but I basically saying THREE of the most respected event groups...in NYC... on ONE daytime event! (Jumping around like I got the Holy Ghost!) WOO! That's rare ni**a! Okay folks, now THAT'S how you end the motherf**kin' summer right!!! If you didn't know or hear about it, this pass Sunday was the GRAND FINALE ending to the Block Association's summer run of roof top day time parties. And WHAT an ending it was! DJ Mello & DJ Goldfinger should be called "the Replacement Killers" they filled in quite nicely for a "I'm in London bitches!" DJ Trauma & the "I was suppose to go to ATL" Danny Ocean. Keeping the dance floor moving from door opening to shut down! Let's give it up to those guys, EXCELLENT job fellas! And speaking of guys, take a long glance at the pics posted below. If she told you she was "out with the girls" on Sunday but never mentioned just WHERE, then mystery solved! She's all dressed up taking flicks with the Block Boys (or Showcase Ent...or maybe even Empire Entity) enjoying life with about 600 other folks! If you HEARD that "SKYFALL" was a blast, you GOD damn right it was! But we're NOT done with you just yet. Wait...there's more! THIS SUNDAY (Sept.30th) coming we'll be giving back on big time to THANK YOU (yes YOU) for playing a HUGE part in the success we've had this year (so far) and the year gone pass. The Block Association is hosting a customer appreciation bowling party at Chelsea Pier's 300 Lanes to toast our come up in the game. Again it will be mid day to late evening hr of 3pm-9pm this time.
