"You're A Star, You Just Don't Know It Yet!" - Sunday Night Live/ the Cool Kids, Mickey Factz

Okay, somebody tell me. Is there some sorta "Rap Renaissance" going on in the Chi that I didn't hear about? Lupe, Common, Kanye, John Legend, all are pulling to get Chicago reinstated in "the Windy City...and spits too!" Now here comes these new "kids" on the Chicago block, the Cool Kids. Never heard of 'em? Then maybe you're just not as cool as you thought you were, huh? Well FYI, they cats tore it up at the American Museum of Natural History and made way for a Kanye appearance, that left the crowd speechless. I say all this cause, Sunday night at S.O.B.'s, you can see first hand what all the hub bub is all about.

"Me Oh Mya' "-Mya Makes it to B'Way

Well look what the ("Chicago") wind blew in! First Usher, now Mya takes her star turn in the Tony Award winning play. Officially she did it first, in the actual big-screen adaption of the play, so this will really make it the second time her name appeared in the featured credits. What would be dope is if, they got both Usher AND her to star together! I think that would really "put some asses in seats" thanks to high ticket demands. But for now, the only "usher" appearing in the same theater will be the one showing my freaking seat. Lol.

"The Scoop on Raisin" -Raisin in the Sun airs tonight on ABC

And first glance I swore this was a new
Sean John ad.
Or maybe Unforgivable, or Ciroc, or the return of Bad Boy (yeah right), perhaps Making of the Band 12 or whatever million things this guy is up to. But it was nether
of those things, It's actually a promo shot for the airing of tonight's
ABC
premier movie "Raisin in the Sun" , in which Sean "Diddy" Combs starred in during it's run on Broadway some time ago. For those (myself included) that's unfamiliar with the story's synopsis here it goes:
Set in 1950s Chicago, the drama centers on the Younger family, who anxiously await a $10,000 insurance check and the ensuing squabbles over how to spend it. Combs plays Walter Lee, a role made famous by Sidney Poitier. Looking to assert his manhood and to use the money to finance his dreams of owning a business, Walter Lee finds himself at odds with his widowed mother, Lena, his ambitious sister, Beneatha and long-suffering wife.

Sounds like another day up at the Bad Boy office (lol.)
8PM (ABC) be sure to watch, in between your weekly "Idol" fix,
as Diddy adds another title to his name...Actor.
