"The Kids Are Alright!" -Kario Key Meet, Greet & Beats

Okay folks, just last week I gave you a brief intro to this sensational new found duo/group Kario Key, that my good friend producer Rich Younglord "discovered" via the good ol' internet. Well the latest update is that all last week he and I invited the talented pair to come out to New York (he coming from Cleveland, and she from Boston) to "vibe" out with one another creatively, and get on the same page, in terms of entertaining the prospect of working on a joint future project together. After a brief "Welcome to New York reception lunch" (lol) at the swankiest Ruby Tuesday's I've EVER seen, we headed out first to a magazine cafe to collect visual/image inspiration (and hot cocoa), then off to the studio back in BK where once the music started playing the energy level peaked, and a FULL song came out of it in like...what (?)...TEN minutes flat! NO lie! I'm not making this stuff up folks! Anyhow, here's a few candid snap shots I had taken during their short visit in which we even set up a promotion photo shoot with the ever so artistically talented photographer Kwesi Abbensetts on the last day in town. "Singing In The Right Key!" -On Another Note Featuring Kario Key

Man I ❤ how this universe works! Peep how while surfing the internet for inspiration my boy music producer Rich Younglord comes across this Indie/Electro Pop duo on Youtube that strikes a cord in him musically, and he decides "I GOTTA f**k with these cats!" and reaches out to directly to contact them to work with him! They holla back at him in like a day's time and the three hit it off after a few brief convos. Rewind really quick back for a sec. YL hips me to them like "Yo kid, what you think about this group? I'm in love w/ shorty's voice!" and sends me a link to hear some of their stuff. I hear "Runaway" and is instantly BLOWN AWAY! KABOOM! Now I'M all hyped like "YO! I'm FEELIN' this! Yeah man NO question! Rock with these guys!" His reply? "I've ALREADY contacted them!" And exactly WHO are they you're asking? They are Electo Pop duo Kario Key, formed by Berklee College students Lorely Rodriguez ("the Voice" pictured below) & Aaron Kleinstub ("the Sound" not pictured) broadcast their new/ sound collabo live from Boston to the world via Soundcloud and Myspace (remember that?) directly to their grassroots grown fan base. To describe their sound would be to say that it's current yet futuristic at the same time. While her voice and lyrics are timeless! I always anxious to hear what NEXT to come from them...then the NEXT one after that! Can't wait to meet these guys face to face. "Thank You, & Good Night!" -the Minority Report's Holiday Office Party

any thanks, to all those that have contributed to the ever growing popularity of the Minority Report's success! This year has been PHENOMENAL! And you had a helping hand with that. We've clocked over 100,000+ hits this year (up 20,000 more than last year), so what better reason to celebrate than NOW? We all know that being a socialite in a social circle of creative people (especially in NYC) at times you don't have time to actually be social! We will all meet on the sand in a sectioned off area. This is a free event all you have to bring is yourself. But food and drink will not be provided so please do not come empty handed. "Flashing Lights" -Paparazzi Pics (Pt.186)

Shhhh, are the kids out the room? If not don't scroll down just yet! This post may contain material not suitable for children 17 and under. They're gone? Good, now we can talk. Okay last Sunday I began my first night hosting VIP at "Pink Ellie" (aka Pink Elephant/nka Pink) hold the applause for later. I've DONE Sundays before starting w/ NV (y'all remember NV right?) then a lil' spot called Sliver, then on to Vue (now Nikki Beach). From there on to Spotlight Live (formally Noche), ending up at the monster of Sunday nights "Magic City" @ LQ! You get the point...I'VE DONE SUNDAY NIGHTS folks! But this HERE, this one here felt different! Strolled in early w/ Block members DJ Trauma (Soundproof/Alador & Smith) & L.A. (the Stylistics Agency) to shake off the rust and introduce myself to staff. So folks can get familiar with the face they cutting checks to (LOL). Round 12:30-1:00am ish I was type nervous cause it was tea party light size attendance in there. (Producer) Rich Younglord, Chadon (stylist), Toni Renee' (stylist), the ladies of Detailed Events showed up, so we all grabbed a table to get a first row seat to "the movie" about to happen. By like 1:30-2am it was ZOOLOGY in there! Tigers, bears, gorilla pimps OH MY! I keep looking around for the director to say "CUT!" You'd sware Lil' Wayne or Young Jeezy was filming a video that night! For a non-holiday Sunday night, it got 'nanas man. I know the waitresses were exhausted from the constant stream of bottles dudes KEEP ordering. No lie, true story, dudes were competing trying to "out pop" each other! To the point that one table bought a bottle for even the damn BATHROOM attendant! You heard me right, THE BATHROOM attendant dawg! Then the other "street ballers" bought bottles for the COAT CHECK girls and EVERY other table...Magnum size bottles mind you! Game OVER! I s@#t you not, almost EVERY table in a two foot radius had a bottle resting on top by 3am. GOD DAMN is right! Oh what a night! Silky Valente (Soundproof /Block Association) showed face, that's when the "movie" turned widescreen 3D , no bootleg. Liquor look like it was pouring right in yo face...cause it probably WAS! How anybody got out alive (or sober) is beyond me. Happy B'day to the ladies that came out to support my first night (Mimi & Latoya)! Hope it lived up to what you wanted & more! I'll post video later but for now peep game. See you next Sunday after "My Uber Sunday" Super Bowl party. Pink WILL be the after after party.
