"One Lucky S.O.B." -Bilal Live @ S.O.B.'s Valentine's Day Night

Almost a month ago, a couple of Tuesdays past (Valentine's Day to be exact), I treated myself to catch a "holiday" concert appearance by the soul stylistic singer Bilal.  Not only was it a PACKED to the brim house, even the reserve seating was TIGHT! Kudos to the wait staff that was able to maneuver their way through that restless crowd. Skillful indeed. Anyways, after a 1hr. 1/2 wait for show time he FINALLY took stage and destroyed any worries that it would be good. Now I've seen Bilal WAY TOO many times that I can count but yet I was STILL impress by the set and musicianship his band displayed! Awesomeness! Well if you missed it you can count on me to bring you not only pictures this time but some video clips as well! ENJOY!

So last week now only did I go to see Little Dragon I also popped into the Highline Ballroom on a last min decision to catch a gig Bilal was headlining (hey sue me, I love live shows man!) over there. I been a fan of this cat since day one! And an even BIGGER fan since the "Love for Sale" project leaked, so seeing him live for me is a NO BRAINER, even though he tends to be inconsistent with his performances. No doubt the brother can SANG but, at times the structure of his sets are a lil'... Eh? Breaks in songs are aiight but the flow into the next was like WTF! Well anyways, Highline makes a HUGE deal about no photos or recording of any sort so SORRY I don't have any pictures for you guys this time around. "Flashing Lights" -Paparazzi Pics (Pt.223)

I'm a lil' behind so I'll admit to cheating on this one by combining two sets of pictures from different events. Some are from a roof top event Gary Grant hosted at this hotel in the city called the Fashion something I wanna say, but not quite sure. Then the rest are from that Bilal listening party held at the Coffee Shop's downstairs lounge last Thursday. BOTH had beautiful looking folks from wall to wall in attendance I must say. And both were packed to cap EARLY on in the night. And BOTH you should've been at! It was pretty dope to say the least. Or maybe I was just to drunk to even give a f**k! Either way here's the pics.
