"I'm A Touch The Sky..." The Return Of The Roof Top Party!

"...Come up in the spot looking extra fly."
-"Touch the sky" Kanye West

YES
, folks we can finally rejoice! According to the weather forecast, Mother Nature will stop PMS'n in time for Saturday to be on point. Hampton like even. Which works just fine for me, cause once again we're gonna try our hand at pulling off this roof top soiree' this Saturday. Block parties (which I'm having too, Aug 15th), pool parties, cook-outs/BBQ, picnics and such, are such symbolically known as Summer time events. Roof top parties are even rarer because frankly, WHO has roof top access in the city (besides hotel establishments)? So to be able to party at a lounge and go out and enjoy the night air w/out leaving club is a gift! You'll be cursing yourself if you don't attend.

Every Sat. starting...

"Flashing Lights" -Paprazzi Pics (Pt.88)

Ford Models! Those were the only two words I need to hear to ensure my attendance at this album release party for Maiysha last Thursday. I was also curious to see the spot the event was been held at, being that I've never been. L.A. & I scooped up U.K. visitor and "Stylist to the stars /(texting) Queen of England" Nasrin from her Bklyn digs and was off to the city. We arrived at great timing, cause it looked as if it was about to get hectic at the door at any given moment. Once inside it wasn't as packed as it seemed on the outside, but then we went downstairs...it was like a over-stuffed suitcase! And no wonder, Bev Bond was Djaying down there, doing what she's known to do best. Politic'd with a couple of fresh new faces, mostly out of towners, next called it an early night. Shout out to Hustlemode & Charles Anthony for a well planned event...when's the next one with models?

"Flashing Lights" -Paparazzi Pics (Pt.54)

Everyday is startin' to blend in with the another, but I DO remember this particular night. Essence threw a fashion show bash for Kanye's former flame's label Ghita. We, meaning Ashy M (the Stylistics Agency), Sallomazing! (Dope Swan), and the Minority Reporter (Peter Parker...but darker) showed up as the Sun was going down. Later joined by L.A. (Cali time 3hrs behind) we hit the networking circle full engines running. Bumped into Claire (from the Fashion Bomb) who was putting in work, but still looked in chill mode. Ran into Rasu (Coup D'etat BK), then Kwesi (Abbensett) too. Who was "buying out" an open bar (?) but keep it a secret to himself. Can you say Balllin'! No...not really. Oh yeah, Keisha Cole got on and did her thing too. Even pointed me out in the crowd. But come to find out I had food on my face, so I guess it was distracting her from singing (lol). BTW Thanks Renae, for looking out. I need those social upgrade functions in my life from time to time.
