"Flashing Lights" -Paparazzi Pics (Pt.240)

Ok Ne-Yo sung "Even clapping is different when you leaving the Champagne Life..." So question, is there ANOTHER level when you're living a Grey Goose & Patron life? Well last Monday folks gathering together to celebrate the Block Association's good friend Carlito's B'day @La Pomme definitely tried to find out. Walking in with an entourage 20 deep, we took over and set up camp EARLY to start the "I gotta go to work the next morning" night off with a chorus line of bottles that would make the Rockettes jealous! And if you were there to witness the bevy of women that table was surrounded by, you wouldn't have needed ONE drink to make any of these ladies look good. LOL! And judging by the turnout, Carlito may seriously have to think about coming back to doing events again man. WORD! Well If you couldn't make it out to stop by to celebrate w/ him he forgets you cause it WAS a Monday night but he still wants you to regret what you missed! "Scratching Fleas!" -Treasure Hunting Through Flea Markets

On my various treks to the city many fleas looking for "coolness" both wardrobe wise and home decor. I often come across stuff that catches my eye be it weird or just visually alluring. Weather I purchase it or not, I still like to "come home" with what drew me even if it's captured in a picture. Which brings me to these pictures below. Here are few things I "snapped" up while combing through the aisles out at the 26th St. garage flea market last weekend past. Come on, let me be honest w/you. I REALLY wasn't looking for anything in particular. I just was itching to take my latest "toy" (my Canon Rebel T2I/EOS 550D) out for a spin. Take a gander at what I spy with my digital eye. I do weddings & bar mitzvahs too. LOL!

"Shots! Shots! Shots!" -I'm A Rebel (T2I) With A Cause...

As we embark on a NEW year, I've taken it upon myself to embark on a NEW challenge! Never the one to rest on my laurels I've decided to take my "lil' photography hobby" up a notch, and learn some skilled techniques to make my photos BETTER! AND I'm learning all hands on/self taught at that. Folks who known me realized in a short amount of time I've personally gone through quite a number of cameras. Even I didn't realize just HOW many till I recently started throwing away the empty boxes and manuals collecting dust in my nightstand draw. Some came from replacing lost ones OR simply longing to upgrade from the current one I was using at the time. But this time is DIFFERENT! I think (or at least feel) that I now own the two that I'll be comfortable rocking with for a while (IE a couple of years to come). And those are the G11 (yeah I know the G12 is now out rocking 1080 HD), and the Canon Rebel T2I/550D that I became OBSESSED about after a friend let me peep the video quality on his one day. Here's a few examples of some "test" shots I've posted using this HDR software that's become a good friend of mine too. I'll shoot some video soon too, so you can fully understand the pure RAW* "awesomeness" of the Rebel T2I! Look they shooting! Ah, made you look!
