"Sweet Seventeen" -Two Events For Music & Art Lovers Alike

Lucky you not one but duece caliente events are happening tonight that you can choose from! First up is the "Secret Wars" Live art battle that Yume is hosting which pits NY v.s. the U.K. The catch is that the two teams can only paint using a black & white medium! June 19th and 20th the winner move on to the finale showcase for bragging right held at the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival this weekend!
Then you have Eric Roberson's soul soiree' "Sol Village" he throws on Wednesdays at S.O.B.'s featuring the talents of underground artist keeping the neo-soul torch aflame. This is something I suggest all lovers of good music to take part in attending at least once. It's good for the "soul" man, trust me. Lol.

"the Aftermath" -Print Has Something He Wanna Say...

One week later and folks are still feeling the effects of the "Rock the Block BK" emerging artist event, that took place last Saturday! Here's yet another prime example of what I did to even the artist. Listen up...

"Flashing Lights" -Paparazi Pics (Pt. 74)

Now it's my turn! Truth be told I swore that there was no way that I would find a moments rest to take flicks of an event I was organizing! Just due to ALL the running around to each venue to oversee things. But lo' an behold, I was fortunate to capture SOME of the magic going on at "Rock the Block Bk." Don't get me wrong, Steph (Mei Ling) and Richard (Loissaint) did they motherf**k'n thing thing but it ain't nothing like using your own eye to capture memories. Feel me? Between the NJV/Bush Baby fashion show, Yume's spoken word & live painting jump-off, and of course Frank White's live performances and tribute after party (B.I.G. Pimpin' -Jay-Z & B.I.G.) here's what I saw go down.
