"Livin' Off The Wall!" -Street Art Bushwick'd Stylin'

In route to meeting up with raps latest phenom first draft pick Chris Faust to edit the promo he exclusively shot for the Minority Report (view here) hosted listening party event, for his JUST released album. I came across some very interesting street compositions (IE graffiti) that was very interesting. So always prepared with my trusty camera, I took a couple of snap shots to bring back from the far off land of Bushwick /Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Enjoy yo self.

Waverly to Washington: Visible Inc. Art Collective has organized a sidewalk chalk contest for all ages – "CHALK WALK" with an “under the sea” theme! Register by emailing or on the day of at the sign-up booth. Each contestant will be provided with chalk and 6’x6’ of space to use. Winners will be determined by public voting in a number of categories, with prizes donated by the Pratt Store! Judging takes place at 4pm! If you prefer a different medium, Clinton Hill Hardware has donated paint and supplies for an ‘open painting area’, with plenty of cardboard canvas to go around. "I'm Just Writing My Name In Grafitti On the Wall..." -I Give This Spot 5 Pointz For Freshness!

Just the other day while trying to hunt down this store that re-sold movie props (which turn out to be extremely lame btw), I just happened to luckily come across this artistic find during my travels while out in Queens (Long Island City to be exact). I had heard of this spot (through pictures only on my Flickr account) but never thought to visit it...Till now! Just a few blocks on the very last stop on the G train you'll find 5 Pointz, an urban haven for "graffiti expressionist" I'd like to call it. EVERY available wall space on this block long building had art work of some sort "tagged up" on it from front to back, and both sides! If you'd like to learn more about my discovery peep HERE to read more about this joint! Below I've posted some more jaw-dropping pictures, once again using my newly purchased Canon G10 camera! LOL!
