"Flashing Lights" -Paparazzi Pics (Pt.154)

Man oh man, June has a hell of alot of B'days boy! I think I've attended at LEAST 5... just in one week alone! Well here are two more I quickly (like an hour tops) breezed through to this week past. The first one was my long time homie D-Nice's annual (must attend!) birthday party, which always bring out the best looking and mature crowd. I only spotted Grant Hill w/wife Tamia, and Datwon Thomas of XXL mag fame in the mix while I was there. I'm pretty sure more stars attended, but ya boy was BEAT from meeting all day so I bounced like a bunny EARLY! Then the very next day I attended a surprise B'day joint for "gate keeper extraordinaire" (of the hottest clubs in NYC) Mr. Chad, who was more than shocked by not only the party attendees, but also seeing his face plastered on make-shift masks and balloons all over the venue! Dope job you guys. I woulds stayed longer but I had a Zzzz train to catch to Sleepy Avenue.

"Flashing Lights" -Paparizzi Pics (Pt.153)

The roof, the roof, the roof was NOT on fire this past Saturday! Too much damn misty rain, so we moved the party inside, and what a party it was. My long time friend, and a fav DJ of mine (who is also EVE's stage DJ) Miss Saigon, set it off early for those that attended with her signature brand of "Hip-80's-Pop-Rock" mixes she does best. Folks that came out seem disappointed that the roof wasn't a no-go but made the best of it, once the music (and drinks) kicked in. M-1 (of Dead Prez), DJ Kid Capri, Sway (of MTV, and one of the party's host), and Bonsu (XXL/King mag) all came out to peep the opening night, and spread the word. I 'm so used to doing events in BK I had forgotten how scantily dressed some women come out to party! I wasn't mad, I was just shocked and rudely re-awakened LOL. None the less the turn out was a descent one being that the rain was making things well...Wet. After awhile VIP had ran out of tables and used some chicks ASS(!) to do bottle service (see last two pics below)! WOW! Anyways, we're planning a "do-over" THIS Saturday (June 27th), and according to the weather (87 & sunny) we SHOULD be good money with the roof top being open this time around. Thanks to the Breakfast Club on this one, you guys are the future! Here's the addy again case you wanna come thru this weekend: 405 W.39th St. betwn 9th & 10th ave. 10pm-4am Hope to see you!

"Flashing Lights" -Paparazzi Pics (Pt.85)

DAYUM!!! I had quite a busy day this day. First I had to run downtown to the Union Square area to view a space I've taken interest into, to start a Sunday morning Brunch soiree' in the near future you'll definitely be hearing more about. Took Chef over to check the new stuff in stock at Rugby and say "What up!" to Tiara C. Then we shot up to Barney's to catch the debut of Andre' 3000's newest clothing venture (Benjamin Bixby) I posted about awhile back. It was alot of notables around the room, but I came to see the effort put into the brand. And honestly speaking it was like we never left the Rugby store (lol). I introduced myself once paparazzi was none snapping it up (pics of me not him), and told him I appreciated the direction he took. It was a natural evolution in the branding of 3000. Adam West introduced me to two witty Brits (Nasrin & Nadia) whom I kidnapped, to go with us over to the Fila/Hennessy in-store event. Good friend Datwon Thomas (of XXL) was the honored host, so I had to stop thru to pay respect. It was an hour left to the event, so we all drifted over to the open bar (!) that luckily was STILL OPEN. Then off again to some Fader event that we missed...oh well. See you the next night!
