"Straight Out The (Amazon) Jungle!" -You Can't Mask Racism

God Bless Amerikkka man! How blatantly racist is this? While web surfing for a mask to wear to the big upcoming Halloween party "Monster's Ball" this Friday (FREE @Tamboril btw) I came across this tomfoolery that smelled like a McCain endorsed ad. After being utterly outraged by the price, I blew my top when I took a gander at the "terrorist costume" listing! What?! How did this not make national news? Who was responsible for this posting and not being caught? Was it rubber or hard plastic? Was all questions going through my mind. For shame Amazon.com! You're being deleted from my web bookmarks FOREVER!

"Nothing's Scarier Than Halloween In BK!" -Free Halloween Event (Mask Required)

Halloween came around this year quicker than you thought right? With being exposed to so much violent images in the media, the only thing that really scares us now is, the economy and a possible McCain win (spine-chills). If spending money frightens you then join us Halloween night for a FREE event where only a mask is required for entree ($10 w/o) to have a good time! The who's who of the social Brooklyn scene will be in attendance, if only you could tell who's behind the mask. Lol!

"Flashing Lights" -Paparazzi Pics (Pt.105)

Boo yourself if you didn't make it out last Sun. to Tamboril for missing Alexandra Cespedes art show, "Matters of the Heart", sponsored by Coup D'etat BK, showcasing some of her numerous paintings and a small glimpse of her photography. I was shocked by how talented she was at such a young age. AND multi-talented too! She so quite you'd never know that she had it in her. LOL. It got real crowd, real quick with all her well wishers coming out to show love and support. Me, I was just there for the early bird drink special and the fish dish...Just jokes folks!
Peep the pics to see who you missed.

"Flashing Lights" -Paparazzi Pics (Pt.104)

Lions, tigers, bears...and what ever else you wanna throw in there, was what was going on at Raye's b'day bash ("the Masquerade") last Friday! Even if I took two or three cameras, shooting at the same time, there NO way I would've captured the madness. Best set of the night (I missed Theophilus London's show) after Ray's performance, hands down was Jeese Boykins III's 'Tabloids" jam...Straight bananas! NO scratch that...Plantanos! This was one of the best events this Fall so far...and speaking of so far, "Sew Far Soul Good!" will be returning to the SAME venue (the Pink Room) on Saturday the 8th of Nov. so GET YO ASS READY!!!!
