Mad that I missed Hilary and Bill's speeches, I made sure I was close to a TV to watch the historic acceptance speech for the Democratic nomination for President by Sen. Obama. It was both reflective and inspirational at the same time, and in different ways and reasons. 45 yrs. ago is NOT that long ago folks. Think if your only just 35, that was only TEN years before you. So to have my mother call me in tears, saying she would hope to see this happen in her life time has such a deeper personal
meaning for me now to vote. She'll be 62 next year, and the hose spraying and the assassinations, and the segregation is still fresh in her mind. Her grand parents and parents still had cotton under their nails. So you get my point on why she was moved. Remember HOPE is just that, until YOU make it real. VOTE!

Sorry to have to beat a dead horse (or rather a democratic mule in this case)but it looks to be like another Super Tues. is upon us today.

Can you believe the audacity of the people actual behind the "re"-lease of this pic! Can't a brother get out the shower without paparazzi snapping at you? Or maybe he was cold and the other gentleman in the picture offered some extra layers for Barack to bundle up in.
Whatever the reason, I see no cause for alarm because of this photo.
If some voters are foolish enough to be swayed by an apparent attempt
to assassinate Obama's character, then they were worth losing. Because those were (in my opinion) uneducated ones to begin with. Besides, how can or do we claim to be a nation full of diversity, but fear a Black Planet (Public Enemy, not the web site). If it surfaces that Hill was in coohoots with this latest "Dele-Gate" scandal then I say,
"Shame on you Hilary Clinton, shame on you!"

"What The FuKKK?!?" -Politrix as Usual

I'm sure by now you've caught wind of this bizarre email that's been floating around.
My first thoughts when I opened it was, either HELL is having the same cold blistering weather we're going through. Or the Klan leaders have taking up the practice of reverse psychology in an act of desperation. Or just maybe someone with photoshop and idle time of their hands thought this would be amusing. Anyway you slice it, it's NUTSO! If true, which is hard to believe, it's basically saying that they're bigger anti-feminist than they are racist? Huh? Maybe they're hoping folks will think "If a racial group of racist are getting behind Obama, maybe Hillary is the better choice." Man, I don't know, my guess is a shot at the "dark"...I meant shot in the dark. Moving on, my feelings are if Barack wins big in Texas (a state who's major cities, Dallas & Houston, didn't even have a black mayor till the late '90's) then he's going all the way. Cut, Rap, Print. Anyways see you at the White House lawn BBQ.

"You Dropped Obama On Me Baby!"

Looks like Hilary needs to start checking that rear view mirror more often, cause Barack is pulling up to her bummer FAST and CLOSE! While you were browsing in the lanes of Ikea or hosting Grammy parties in your studio apartment in Billyburg, Obama was working hard over the weekend. And it paid off BIG time! It's "Sweeps Week" on that outdated invention we call a TV, and from the look of things his camp and supporters took note. He cleaned up the votes in Louisiana, Nebraska, Maine, and the White House state as well too. It to me seems like there's and renewed fever of energy infecting voters that are starting to believe in the dreams of hope and change that Barack promises. Hopefully the rest of America will catch it. He has "TIME" on his side. FYI, he even won a Grammy last night!
