"Get Into The Party Life!" -Brooklyn We (CAN'T) Go Hard (Anymore)! Not So Breaking News

FIRST SATURDAYS IS A WRAP!!!
(...Well, the dancing portion that is)

If you’ve been to one of these monthly events, you know that we’ve been seeing more attendance than ever at First Saturday. You, the visitors, have really brought this event to life, making it such a vibrant part of Brooklyn, and that’s been amazing to see. We have to acknowledge, however, while the attendance is growing, our building is staying the same size, and we’ve run into some challenges with capacity crowds and traffic flow throughout the building. What does that mean for the event? Well, essentially it means that we are going to put the dance party on hiatus for the time being. This was not a decision we made lightly. We had a lot of discussion with staff and community members to get additional input. Since we made the decision, we’ve seen visitor feedback come in on both sides. Some people are looking forward to a new experience and excited for the change, while others are really sad to see the dance party go.

Entering its sixth season, Restoration Rocks is a FREE day-long music concert of some of the most dynamic emerging and established artists performing on the Brooklyn stage. Known for attracting Brooklyn & Harlem-based crowds, Restoration Rocks draws thousands of people to Fulton St. to partake in music, food, and dance. Restoration Rocks is part of a larger festival, Bedstuy Alive!, a week long event series (October 6 – 13) which celebrates the history, culture, commerce of the community.

"Head High, Heels Too!" -Candid Photos Of Stiletto University

About I would say a good month ago, I was requested to take part in filming footage for a woman empowering march in Bed-Stuy for none other than power of attraction magnate Shanel Cooper-Sykes. Her motivational endeavour Stiletto University based out of Harlem felt it was time to take the "movement" to BK, and she wanted me on hand to capture history in the making! Not only did I agree to taking on the project because of it's positive intentions, Who could say NO (!) to spending the day with a group of diversely attractive women in heels? WHO? I was as I said earlier originally hired to just be a videographer, but in the down time I snapped these behind the scenes candid flicks for her team bonding sessions.  She dug 'em SO much I got called back to shoot her upcoming book covers (4) just last Sunday! Wanna know more about this AMAZING woman? Click and do ya research HERE. Till then peep me at work getting BIZZY!
